It’s our final week of preparation before the Big Day, will Santa and the Reindeers be ready in time?  This week we will be exploring Christmas stories as we introduce small story trays with small world cake decorations to arrange and play as we make up our very own stories. Meanwhile, over in the Santa’s workshop we will be preparing the sledge and fill it with presents ready for the big night.  Outside we will need to make sure that our reindeer are well looked after with...

We’re one week closer to the big day, and there is an awful lot of talk about Santa and what he does. How will he manage to wrap all those presents on time?  This week the Caterpillars will be helping him as they continue with the theme of Santa’s grotto.   Meanwhile, over in the maths area, there will be presents already wrapped of different shapes and sizes.  Will you be able to point out the round present or find the tall one?   Which one will have four sides?  Can you name the shapes?Going...
