Stepping Stones News Letter

November 2018

Dear Parents,

Christmas is fast approaching and it is our very busy time of year as we organise fun filled festive activities for our children and their families.  The Butterflies will be offering Festive Evenings and the Caterpillar’ s afternoons on the 17th, 18th and 19th December (See below for more details)!

We are pleased to announce that Jess had a baby boy named Oliver in September and Katrina a baby girl named Brianna in November.  Both are doing well.  Angel will be leaving us to go on Maternity leave at the end of November, and in conjunction with this we are looking forward to welcoming Abby back to the Caterpillar group in December.

Photo’s Congratulations to Lisa and Jacob Stacey who won the prize draw.  Lisa won some photographs up to the value of thirty pounds.  Well done!  and thank you to all of those who supported the event.

Bertie For anyone new to the Nursery, we would like to introduce Bertie.  Bertie has been coming to the nursery since the age of eight weeks and generally resides in the office.  However the children love to spend time with him as they visit his basket or Bertie is happy to visit them in the classrooms as he joins in with their group activities.  Bertie is very gentle and loves nothing more than rolling over to have his tummy rubbed!  His picture is on the staff staff board he plays an important role in the setting and is a great help settling  children.

McMillan Coffee Afternoon Our McMillan Coffee Afternoon was a great success with you all helping to raise an amazing one hundred and twenty pounds.  I would like to take the opportunity to thank Emma from the Bumblebees for all her hard work in organising the event.
