This week the Caterpillars are going Jurassic as we explore the world of the dinosaurs. The Caterpillar’s have enjoyed exploring the ice in their garden last week so, to extend this interest further we will have our very own Wintery ice tray for them to investigate. We will have leaves, pinecones and twigs frozen within the water for the children, and using various tools the Caterpillar’s will be able to dig them out. Last week we explored the Artic through small world play, introducing animals such as penguins, polar bears, seals and whales. This week we’re taking it one step further as we use our coloured torches to create the Northern Lights!
