Bumblebees Learning Experiences W/c 13th April 2015

Posted on Friday, April 10, 2015 in Bumblebees Learning

The children will be engaging in baby role play, caring for and feeding their babies, imitating what they may have seen their parents do or remembering from their own experience. This activity will help the children in making relationships to take steps towards co-operative play, encourage children to use everyday words and to talk about things that are not present.

This week the Bumblebee room will be getting involved with lots of different physical play, this includes balls, hoops and bean bags to promote the children’s co-ordination and development.

The children have continued to enjoy the exploration shelves to maintain and extend their interest we have added everyday flash cards, noisy books and puzzles. This will aid the children in learning to anticipate sounds and explore objects by linking together, pulling, turning and poking.

Home Learning

Why not let your child take ‘baby’ for a walk to the park or even in the bath with them!!

How about making your own game of throwing and catching using pots, pans, toy boxes so that children can practice their skills at home.
