The Bumblebees have been very intrigued by blowing bubbles recently so to encourage this we are going to have a large tray with soapy water and cups, funnels and some wands for the children to blow some bubbles. Inside we are going to be playing with feathers and tissue paper trying to blow them, so they float through the air. You are doing so well! Let’s blow a big bubble. Can you blow a big bubble? Once Upon a Time…. Following on from last week our interests have bloomed and this week we will be exploring the traditional fairy tales of our childhood as we read and act out some of our favourites.  Will you be the princess who can feel the pea under all those mattresses? Keeping the water feature going welcome to our underwater rock pool, where we will be able to...

The mini beasts topic has been a huge success, and the outdoor environment continues for yet another week as we think about making mini wormery’s, nesting boxes and bird feeders to hang up and watch.  It is the time of year that we need to consider getting ready for planting as we aerate the soil and weed the ground.  We will be going on walks to the local pond to discover the frog spawn to see and discover it’s natural habitat. Talking of natural materials, we will be taking the interest of...
