Dear Parents,

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all back to a new term, or if you are a new family to welcome you into the Nursery for the first time.  I hope you have all had a pleasant Summer and if possible have enjoyed some time off to experience the sunny weather!  We have lots of events occurring in the not too distant future and so I would ask you to place them into your diary to ensure that you do not miss out.

Meeting your Key Carer

Please make sure that you know who your child’s key carer is.  These are your first port of call if you wish to discuss your child’s development and learning.  Please remember to look at Tapestry and remember to contribute by placing your child’s learning from home.  Each month your Key Carer will give you an activity / idea for home learning that will enhance what your child is doing, during their time spent with us.

Meet The Schools & School Enrolment Evening

A number of Local schools come to the nursery to show you what they have on offer in preparation of the Online School Enrolment Portal opening. We also run through the procedure to help you enrol you child and explained what the schools expect of you and your children to help with a smooth transition Thursday 14th November 18.15 to 19.30.

Bumblebee and Dragonfly Information Evening

Thank you to all of the parents who attended the evening.  It was a big success and the parents commented how lovely it was to speak to the practitioners about their children and gain advice on sleeping, feeding, toilet training and boundaries and behaviours.  This was a lovely social evening and it was a delight to see you all.  Beth Betambeau was the lucky winner of our Toddler Taming Book by Dr Christopher Green.

In The Lobby

Can I just remind parents that the Lobby is the area to find all the information of upcoming events, discovering ideas for home learning and factual information that oversees your child’s well being.   Please feel free to borrow our Read and Return books from the book case and shelves.  These are available for all the family, including older siblings and adults.

Attention to the Butterflies

Please can all children arriving at 9:45 please leave their coats on, so that they can join their friends outside.

Welcome at any Time

As parents you are welcome to speak to us and any members of staff, this maybe to alleviate concerns or to discuss your child’s learning and development.  We always welcome parents who wish to stay and play before leaving whether this is on drop off or on collection.

We welcome any ideas and suggestions on how we can improve our services.

Thank you for your ongoing support
